Their star offering is undoubtedly the cod, enveloped in a light, crisp batter that crackles satisfyingly with each bite. For those craving variety, the scampi and fries are a solid contender—although, many fans find themselves returning time after time for the perfect cod.

The homemade chips are every bit as impressive—thick-cut, fluffy inside with a golden exterior, embodying the very best of this British classic. A spectrum of tangy sauces and pickles, offered at a modest price, allows you to customize your meal, although a small note for ketchup lovers: bringing your own saves you a small extra charge.

This setting creates an immersive experience where the sound of crashing waves, the bustling pier, and joyous crowds blend harmoniously with the aroma and taste of exceptional fish and chips. As one patron fondly recalls, the musical soundtrack of the day—even a Whitney Houston classic—paired perfectly with the food, adding a fun and personal touch to the visit.

Great fish & chips here & the view is great too! Scampi & fries option is good but not great as the cod. Music, action & people add to the wonderful flavors! Just one note: bring your own ketchup as it is additional 50p

Delicious fish and chips on the seafront. The fish and chips were so fresh and the curry sauce was tangy and moreish. Pricey, but to be expected in Brighton. Definitely worth a visit!

Very good location, you can eat good food with a view of the sea. Delicious, cod in crispy batter, fresh home-made chips, a very large selection of sauces/pickles for a few pennies. The prices were not high at all, for four portions we paid less than 50 pounds and each of us chose a different side. It's also worth adding, that their portions are huge and we really struggle to finish it!

Wow. Where do I even start? Right after I set my foot in Brighton, I knew I had to try fish and chips in this coastal city. I had no idea where to go, who to meet and what should I expect from this beautiful city. I just walked to the pier and admired the view, then a man wearing glasses and a blue T-shirt, carrying a fish and chips sign caught my attention. Looked like he was bringing it out to display on the road. He was the one introduced me to the lovely fish and chips shop. The shop looked really clean and the staff were extremely energetic and friendly. Those are the two elements that I usually judge on when I come to any restaurant for the first time. Here comes the food. The classic fish and chips with curry sauce. The price is fair for the portion and the location. The batter is amazing, fish tastes so fresh and flaky, you can tell they know how to do business. The chips were awesome, freshly cut and the curry sauce was cherry on the cake. Definitely gonna come back on a sunny day in this lovely city.

The food is really nice and I gotta say that I have tried tons of fish and chips shop across the UK, but this one is simply the best. The fish is brilliant, the batter is perfect and the chips are on point! The view is also absolutely amazing. Definitely a place to go on a sunny day in Brighton!

Good fish and chip shop near the pier. Living in central England we always have high expectations of fish and chips on the coast. The batter was light and crisp and you could tell the fish was freshly caught, full of flavour. Plenty of outside seating under canopies as a deter for local wildlife. A plea to future customers - please take your left overs to the bins provided.

Great fish and chips, good portion size and the music was on point today. Cracking out bangers like Whitney "I wanna dance with somebody" was an opening to embarrass my kids. I love the out front seating area and the weather today was glorious so just added to the whole experience. I definitely recommend and would a gazillion percent go back.
